Princeton Catalysis Initiative

The Princeton Catalysis Initiative (PCI) aims to accelerate interdisciplinary research on catalysis across the University and in collaboration with industry. The initiative reaches beyond the Department of Chemistry, the traditional home of catalysis research, to create innovative partnerships across the campus and beyond.

Through PCI, scientists, engineers and scholars are bridging disciplinary boundaries to create and explore new research areas.

“PCI will be an academic incubator for new fields of research that will have significant benefit for society.”
—David MacMillan, the James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor of Chemistry
