Princeton Entrepreneurship Council (PEC) and Princeton Women's Network (PWN) invite you to apply to the Princeton Women Founders Startup Showcase. We encourage all startups with a Princeton alumna and/or female faculty/student/postdoc founder or in the C-Suite to apply to the showcase, to be held virtually via Zoom on Thursday, July 30.
The Princeton Women's Founder Startup Showcase will feature six companies, selected from the pool of applications, ranging from commercial ventures to social impact (double net bottom line) organizations, spanning the funding spectrum (not yet funded, self-funded, angel-funded, and venture-funded seed and A rounds, but excluding companies which have raised funds in post-Series A rounds). Audience attendees, which will include many angel and VC investors as well as Princeton alumni, students, faculty, and their guests, will "invest fictional currency" and the top invested companies will be recognized.
Selection criteria include: quality of management team, quality of presentation, clarity of business value proposition, market size and share, current and projected traction, and the long-term strategy.
Applications will be accepted through Sunday, July 12 at 11:59pm EDT. Companies selected to present at the showcase will be notified by Friday, July 17. All applicants confirm that, if selected, they will be able to participate in the July 30th showcase (tentatively scheduled for 4:00 pm EDT).
Please contact PEC's Anne-Marie Maman '84, Executive Director, at email@example.com or Don Seitz ’79, Assistant Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. A Google account is required to submit an online application; if this is an issue please contact Don Seitz to make alternate arrangements.
