Bio/Description
Anthony Young is a first-generation college student that graduated from Arizona State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. He earned his PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Arizona in 2016 studying the mechanism of radical SAM enzymes. This was followed by postdoctoral research at the University of Utah on natural product biosynthesis. His research has been highlighted in the Journal of the American Chemical Society, Biochemistry, and Nature Chemical Biology. Anthony is currently a co-founder and CSO at Sóliome, where the next generation of bio-inspired sunscreens are being developed.
