Rob manages a family office where he focuses on global public and private investments. He is the founder and Co-Chair of Princeton Alumni Angels (PAA) of Greater NY, which has invested close to $8 million in 25 companies since 2018, and the Board Chair of the Catalytic Impact Foundation (CIF), an impact investing firm which addresses unmet healthcare needs by funding extraordinary innovations and visionary leaders.
Previously, Rob was a Managing Director at the Carlyle Group in Hong Kong, where he led Carlyle’s Asian telecommunications, media, and growth technology investments, and an Executive Director in the Investment Banking Division (IBD) of Goldman Sachs in London and Hong Kong, where he was responsible for building the firm's mergers and acquisitions and privatization practices. Rob has worked on advisory and investment transactions in over 30 countries across Asia, Europe, North America, Africa and Latin America.
Rob is the president of the Princeton Association of New York City (PANYC) and a member of the Alumni Council Executive Committee at Princeton. He currently chairs the US board of Amref Health Africa, the largest healthcare NGO in Africa, and serves on the boards of the Trinity School in NYC and Volunteers of America – Greater NY. Rob has an A.B. in Political Science and Economics (magna cum laude) from Princeton University and an M.Phil. in International Relations from Cambridge University.
