Tendie Muzorewa is a cardiovascular disease researcher. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the University of Memphis’ Patents2Products program and is working to commercialize her research. Her goal is to help alleviate the burden of cardiovascular health disparities on women and ethnic minorities.
Tendie holds a Ph.D. and master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and studied Math and Physics as an undergraduate. With experience in computational, in vitro, and clinical research studies, Tendie is a believer in leveraging diverse skills to create interdisciplinary solutions. She was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug long ago and is excited about the power of entrepreneurship to create large-scale impact and is an advocate of higher education as a path to individual and societal empowerment.
